Terms and Conditions.

Reiki Healing treatments.

Contact details must be provided upon booking i.e. Full name, email and mobile number. Your personal and health information will be dealt with and stored in a confidential manner.

Reiki treatments are available to adults and children, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian ( who will need to stay during the Reiki treatment).

Louise Riley Healing Arts retains the right to refuse a treatment.

Any client displaying inappropriate behaviour will be asked to leave immediately.

If subsequent treatments are booked for more than one person( eg friends, family or partners booking in back to back treatments)- full payment for all the appointments must be made at least 24 hours prior to the fist appointment.

Cancellation:

Notice of cancellation must be given by email, voicemail or SMS 24 hours or more before the appointment time.

In order to respect the time of our staff and our other valued clientele seeking to make an appointment, Louise Riley Healing Arts charges a cancellation fee (50% the value of your scheduled service) on your subsequent appointment if the above notice is not given.
In the case that you fail to notify us of your inability to attend your appointment, ‘no-shows’ are also required to provide deposits for all appointments made in the future.
In certain circumstances this may be waived at the discretion of Louise Riley Healing Arts .

Classes and Courses.

Deposit (of amount stated) must be paid in order to hold your place in a class. Deposit is non -refundable but is transferable.

If a deposit has not been made- your place will not be kept for you( unless prior arrangement has been made with Louise Riley Healing Arts).

Balance of payment must be made at least 7 days before the first session on the course.

Sacred Lotus Healing retains the right to refuse training to any student.

“No show”- failure to attend (once a deposit has been placed) a course without 24 hours notice will incur the balance due for that course.

If a student attends part of a workshop- either 50% or 100% of the course cost will be incurred, this will be determined at the discretion of the Reiki Master Teacher.

Reiki courses require participation in the giving and receiving of Reiki from other students.

A student may be refused acceptance into any class, or asked to leave at any time if they are physically. mentally or emotionally unwell, or their behaviour is deemed in any way inappropriate.

If a class is cancelled students all reasonable effort will be made to notify students as soon as possible, any monies that have been paid will be refunded as soon as practicable. Students may elect to transfer to another scheduled class if there are places available.

Reiki and meditation are complementary to other forms of healthcare and are not provided as a replacement for any current healthcare.

Reiki and all other modalities/therapies provided by Louise Riley Healing Arts are offered on the basis of energy transfer and no claims are expressed nor implied as to treatment or cure of medical or psychological conditions. In attending healing treatments as a client, or attending any class, workshop or retreat as a student you indemnify practitioners and teachers of Sacred Lotus Healing against any claim arising from any application of Reiki or other treatment, techniques or teachings in any of those activities.

COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL & SENSITIVE INFORMATION.

We collect your personal information e.g. name and address either online or in hard copy when you attend a treatment, workshop or class.

We need to have this information to carry out the services we provide to our customers. This includes facilitating your bookings, course/event registrations and communicating with you.

We also sometimes collect sensitive information e.g. health information when you attend a treatment, workshop or class. This is to ensure we can carry out the services we provide to you in a professional, safe and personalised manner.

Sensitive information will be used to provide services to our clients. It will also be provided to other parties if, and as required by law.

PROTECTING AND SECURING YOUR INFORMATION.

All client and student forms and any hard copy information is handled and stored in a confidential manner. None of your personal contact or health information will ever be given by Louise Riley Healing Arts to another party for marketing purposes. We will comply with providing information if required by law.

Information provided to us via the Louise Riley Healing Arts website is handled according to the Squarespace privacy policy Information about their privacy policy can be found at: www.squarespace.com.au. Scheduling and payments are handling by https://www.acuityscheduling.com and https://www.squareup.com respectively- please see their privacy policies for further details.

All information provided to us online is handled and stored with all reasonable effort to maintain it confidentially. Some data is stored on secure well-known online platforms.

We don’t guarantee website links or those of authorised third parties.
